Murmansk Oil and Gas Business CentreMurmansk, RussiaAt the invitation of Norwegian investors BB Eiendom AS and the state owned Innovation Norway, Ramboll Architects proposed a new 60.000 sqm business centre in Murmansk. Murmansk Oil & Gas Business Centre is a multi-functional resource centre and office cluster that encourages the establishment of new businesses related to the development of oil and gas in the Barents region. This project primarily consists of modern general office environments that are organized using a flexible wing structure that can easily be divided into custom tenant groups of varying size and structure. Work units are grouped around a generous common atrium that contains service functions, meeting rooms, restaurants and cafes. In addition to this atrium is a hotel that houses a learning center, meeting rooms and conference facilities. The exterior expression of this complex in conjunction with the interior spaces create a progressive and innovative signal building which aims to promote the new oil and gas age coming to Murmansk. |
